Ilona's classes are all about fun. Students will learn the 4 components of bellydance as well as the various styles with an emphasis on both technique and improvisation.
Lessons are held in a relaxed atmosphere and are adapted to students' levels and special needs. All classes include a yoga inspired warm up, basic functional strength exercises, movement drills and cooldown.
All ages and body shapes are welcome and no previous dance experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing that shows the bodyline and bring a scarf to tie around your hips. Higher level classes require Veil and Finger Cymbals although I do have some to lend.

Ilona is FIS certified with CAN-FIT PRO and EWYT-350 with East to West Yoga and Pilates. (Completed RYT 200 hours)
To make this an enjoyable experience for everyone please respect the following rules
- Please refrain from wearing any scents to class as classmates may have allergies.
- Cell phones to be turned off during class
- Finger Cymbals should not be played during instruction
- Most of Ilona's classes are back to back. If you have questions about movements please don't be shy and ask during class time.
- Make sure you are taking the right class for your level. If unsure, ask.
- Leave ego at the door, some movements are more challenging than others and require time and practice to perfect. The attempt is more important and more rewarding than mastering the dance quickly. Be patient with yourself and others remember everyone learns at different rates.

Hatha Yoga
Gentle Level Hatha-Vinyasa Mix Class. Postures, Breathing Techniques, Relaxation and Concentration is the focus of the class.
All Levels
Tribal Belly
American Fusion style bellydance that is all about teamwork. Join the tribe and learn bellydance the easy way in a follow the leader format. Basic Movements are reviewed every class.
Beginner to Advanced Level
Beginner Belly
"Hip Drop a What?" Learn foundation moves here. Good class for someone completely new to bellydance or for those who want to perfect their technique. Intro to finger cymbals is also covered here.
Beginner Level Class
Belly Dance Advanced
For dancers who want to take it to the next level. Floorwork, props and Finger Cymbals are done in this class. This class moves through combos fairly quickly. Intermediate moves are drilled with added layers such as shimmies, turns and arm patterns.
Open to Intermediate level dancers who wants a Challenge, it is recommended you have at least 1 year of Intermediate Classes under your scarf
Veil, Mat, Finger Cymbals Required.
Belly Dance Intermediate
Feel like you can handle more? Walking patterns and basic layers are added to your dance. Combos will be more developed as well as quick transitions. Intro to tribal is also covered here.
Open to beginner level dancers who have mastered body isolations. It is recommended you have at least 30hours of scarf time
